Our course MEETS state alcohol seller/server training requirements. Alcohol Server Training Law Mandatory The state requires approved alcohol server/seller training in some capacity Approved TIPS Programs Classroom: On-Premise, Concessions, and Gaming Online: TIPS is approved by the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB). Upon completion of the Washington TIPS course, the participant will be provided a Class 12 or 13 MAST permit within 30 days. Requirements Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) is required by law for persons who serve, mix, sell, or who supervise the sale of alcohol for on-premises consumption at a liquor-licensed establishment. TIPS is an approved third-party provider of MAST training. TIPS offers MAST training via the classroom conducted by WSLCB/TIPS certified trainers and online via TIPS. Length of Certification TIPS Certification is valid for 3 years
